It’s been a little over a month since Alex and a new balance patch were released for Street Fighter 6. The meta has seen a few shifts since the previous version of the game.
As such, Will2pac recently released a new tier list for Street Fighter 6. He even includes Alex’s position, which lines up to around where other players have previously placed him.
According to Will2pac, the strongest characters in the game right now are JP, Sagat, Mai, Ed and Terry. Though a number of these fighters have received a few nerfs, many of them are still among the top echelon of Street Fighter 6.
Fighters like Blanka, M. Bison, Ryu, C. Viper, Akuma, Ken, Cammy, Chun-Li and Zangief are indicated to be competitively viable as well. They’ve been relegated in the A tier category (under S tier) as a result.
As for Alex, he’s been positioned in B tier along with Kimberly, Jamie, Luke and A.K.I. These combatants feel like they’re on the cusp of being viable, but have to work a little harder than those above them.
Manon and E. Honda are stated to be the weakest overall characters in Street Fighter 6. Of course, Marisa and Lily are also said to be struggling.
