Schools close across Central Virginia as Monday’s forecast severe weather approaches

BOTEOURT COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — On Monday a round of severe weather is set to sweep across Virginia. Some of the storms could be powerful enough to prompt tornado warnings.

ABC13’s weather team issued a Weather Alert Day for Monday ahead of the threat.
