Nothing Phone (4a) looks refreshingly normal in official image

Ahead of its March 5 launch event, Nothing has just revealed the first official image of the Nothing Phone (4a), and it looks surprisingly, refreshingly normal.

Nothing’s design language has always been a little different, but recent releases have been pushing further and further into unorthodox designs. Nothing Phone (3a) Pro had a strange design with a huge camera module and seemingly random camera placement, while Nothing Phone (3) later had a quirky look that, well, feel a little weird to say the least.

With Nothing Phone (4a), it seems we’re getting something a bit more familiar.

The first official image of Phone (4a) was posted earlier today showing the device in a white/silver colorway with a central camera that looks pretty darn close to Nothing Phone (3a). It’s not quite identical, but it’s pretty close.

There are a couple of key changes here. Firstly, the camera module is no longer on a rounded base, with the module also seemingly sticking out a bit further this time around. The Glyph interface has also changed, with the new “Glyph Bar” appearing to the right side with a range of different shades of gray, as well as a red dot as has become tradition on Nothing Phone releases.

Aside from that, this design looks familiar, which is a nice change of pace.

Stay tuned for the full Nothing Phone (4a) launch, arriving on March 5.
