WOODLAND, Wash. (KATU) — Northbound Interstate 5 remains closed in Cowlitz County after a debris slide near Woodland, leaving travelers with no timeline for when the highway will reopen.
All lanes of northbound I-5 are closed at Dike Access Road near milepost 22, near Dike Road, according to a WSDOT travel alert. Geotechnical crews were en route to assess the area and ensure it is safe for travel.
There is no estimated time for reopening. Travelers are urged to avoid the area and expect delays.
