Many games have day-one updates these days, and that’s the case with Mario Tennis Fever and version 1.0.1.
This seems to be a pretty small patch. Nothing new is added, but Nintendo says that gameplay has been improved.
The official rundown is as follows:
Mario Tennis Fever 1.0.1 update out now, patch notes
- We’ve fixed some issues to improve gameplay.
Aside from what’s stated above, Nintendo points out that this patch is required to access online features. Also, if you download the update data and update to the latest version, you will no longer be able to play locally or via LAN with older versions.
