Apple has just released a new Mac software update: macOS 26.3.1. Here’s what’s new in the latest software version.
macOS 26.3.1 adds support for new Studio Displays and bug fixes
Today alongside iOS 26.3.1’s release, Apple has also launched a new software update for Mac.
macOS Tahoe 26.3.1 arrives on the same day as the MacBook Neo’s introduction. But it also includes compatibility with the new Studio Display and Studio Display XDR that were unveiled yesterday.

This update expands external display support to include Studio Display (2026) and Studio Display XDR along with bug fixes for your Mac.
macOS 26.3.1 is the software version that’s expected to ship on all of Apple’s new MacBooks introduced this week, including the MacBook Neo, M5 MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro with M5 Pro and M5 Max.
It arrives as all of those new products became available for pre-order today, as well as the Studio Display and Studio Display XDR.
