Jessi Draper’s ex, Jordan Ngatikaura, filed for a temporary restraining order against her on March 20, People reports. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star opposed the order later that same day. The order was filed just one day after Ngatikaura filed for divorce; the former couple had been together for five years.
Throughout the last two seasons of Mormon Wives, we’ve watched the highs and mostly lows of their relationship. In season three, Draper admitted to cheating on Ngatikaura with Marciano Brunette from Vanderpump Villa; throughout the season, she also claimed Ngatikaura was emotionally abusive. They were briefly separated but reunited in season four to continue to work on their marriage. However, as Ngatikaura became the self-proclaimed leader of #DadTok in season four, it seemed to drive the couple further apart, eventually leading to the divorce announcement last week.
“I’m grateful for the shared memories and the lessons,” Ngatikaura said in a statement last week. “While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported, and protected through this transition. I am committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect.”
