James Cameron, Tom Cruise, Rhea Seehorn

The star-studded 53rd annual Saturn Awards were in full swing at Los Angeles’ Universal Hilton today, as the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films bestowed honors upon such figures as Christopher McQuarrie and James Cameron, as well as projects like Star Trek, the celebration of which featured OG star William Shatner.

Inside the ballroom, Tom Cruise — set to present the Visionary Award to Oscar-winning Mission: Impossible series helmer McQuarrie — embraced filmmaker Guillermo del Toro and actress Elle Fanning. Meanwhile, on the carpet, there were reunions aplenty: Pluribus star Rhea Seehorn snapped a pic with her fellow Better Call Saul alum Bob Odenkirk and The Boys ensemble — featuring Jessie T. Usher, Karl Urban, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Erin Moriarty, Jack Quaid and Nathan Mitchell — posed for a photo.

Also in attendance: Pluribus’ Karolina Wydra, Peacemaker‘s Jennifer Holland, It: Welcome to Derry shepherds Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti, Dexter: Resurrection‘s David Dastmalchian, Gen V star Jaz Sinclair and Avatar: Fire and Ash performers Jack Champion and Trinity Jo-Li Bliss.

The Saturn Awards ceremony celebrates the year’s biggest and best achievements in science fiction, fantasy, horror, superhero and action-adventure storytelling across film and television. Ryan Coogler’s record-setting Oscar juggernaut Sinners, Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash and Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps lead all film nominees in the competitive categories.
