It isn’t surprising that the technology firm is rumored to commence mass production of the iPhone Fold and the iPhone 18 Pro in July, at least according to Weibo tipster Momentary Digital, as Apple has reportedly accomplished various milestones with its first foldable flagship. For instance, the crease-free display, which is probably the most difficult feat to obtain, has been achieved, though Apple has been reported to be experiencing trouble in this area and is exploring Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) technology in varying thicknesses to address the problem.

The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max aren’t expected to be radically different from their immediate predecessors, meaning that they are rumored to sport the same displays and design, putting less pressure on Apple when these flagships undergo mass production. Probably the only obstacle for these two devices are the A20 and A20 Pro, and even though Apple has been reported to have secured more than half the initial supply from TSMC’s 2nm capacity, it is said to be experiencing production issues due to the surging demand for the Taiwanese firm’s next-generation lithography.
