Harrison Ford Says ‘Of Course’ He’s Had Sex While Listening to His Own Movie Soundtracks

Harrison Ford is sharing some unexpected insight into his listening habits in the bedroom.

Ford, 83, fielded a cheeky question from Jimmy Kimmel about whether he’s ever had sex while listening to music from one of his own movies when the actor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday, March 10.

Kimmel, 58, asked the question after playing a clip from Ford’s Apple TV series Shrinking in which the actor, who plays a therapist diagnosed with Parkinson’s, hums part of a melody from his iconic Indiana Jones film franchise. “That was something that you just surprised [the cast] with?” Kimmel asked Ford, who responded, “I don’t remember.”

Ford gave a similar answer when Kimmel asked if he recalled how his costars reacted to the apparently improvised moment. “Maybe you’ll remember this,” Kimmel then asked. “Have you ever made love to the soundtrack of one of your films? Maybe Witness?”

“Of course I have,” the actor replied after a 13-second pause, prompting laughter from Kimmel and his audience. “It’s a dumb question,” Kimmel added.

Ford, who met his wife Calista Flockhart in 2002, shared no further details about his bedroom activities or which of his own movie scores he listens to in his own time. The Star Wars icon has five children: he shares his oldest two sons Benjamin, 59, and Willard, 56, with his first wife Mary Marquardt and shares son Malcolm, 38, and daughter Georgia, 35, with second wife Melissa Mathison. He is also a father to Flockhart’s son Liam, 25, whom Ford adopted after marrying the Ally McBeal star in 2010.

Flockhart and Ford most recently stepped out in public together at the 2026 Actor Awards in Los Angeles on March 1, where Ford described Flockhart as his “extraordinarily beautiful wife” while thanking those who have impacted his life and career as he accepted the ceremony’s Life Achievement Award.

Ford even briefly opened up about the couple’s marriage when he told E! News during a red carpet interview at that event, “I don’t tell my wife what to do.“
