Showdown & Rivalry

Chapter 7 Season 2 centers around the Showdown theme, where players choose between Team Foundation and Team Ice King, with the winning side deciding the final Battle Pass reward.

New Gameplay Features

Chapter 7 Season 2 also introduces several new mechanics that change how matches play out.

Drive the Battle Bus

• One player per match controls the Battle Bus
• Fly through rings to grant XP and spawn supply drops
• Players can tip the driver for bonus XP

Rift Anomalies

• Match-wide events that affect all players
• Rivalry Rumble activates island-wide rivalries
• Storm Focus reveals the final zone early
• Stabilize Anomaly rewards loot after defeating drones

Map Changes

Chapter 7 Season 2 introduces several new POIs across the map, replacing previous locations.

• Frigid Fortress replaces Clawsy Lodge
• Sanctuary replaces Classified Canyon
• Squibbly Shores replaces Bumpy Bay
• Dark Dominion replaces Lethal Labs

New Lootpool

Chapter 7 Season 2 introduces a wide range of new weapons and items, adding more variety to the overall loot pool and how fights play out this season.

• Seven Power Gloves — mobility-focused gauntlets with dash and uppercut abilities
• Ice King’s Gauntlets — mythic item with ice attacks and an area storm ability
• Skyline Deployer — places a usable zipline for quick rotation
• Foundation’s Rift Rifle — creates a rift at the impact location
• Vector 7 DMR — high-damage scoped rifle built for long-range fights
• Chaos Reloader Shotgun — single-shot shotgun with high damage per shot
• Bouncing Boomstick — explosive that detonates on each bounce
• Slapperoni Pizza — throwable item that provides healing and slap effect

Battle Pass

Chapter 7 Season 2 introduces a new Battle Pass packed with skins, bonus styles, and unlockable rewards across different questlines.

• Get the Battle Pass for 800 V-Bucks or with Fortnite Crew to instantly unlock Exalted Ice King. 
• Get the Pass before March 26 at 11:59 PM ET and you’ll also claim the launch week exclusive Stealth Tech Foundation bonus Style and accessories
• Exiled Ice King, Squibbly, Lady Windfrost, Dasha, The Foundation (Reforged), The Order (Reforged), Elite Jules, Bugs Bunny
