Battlefield 6 sold around 7 million copies in three days, and it had one of the strongest launch campaigns of the franchise. Nonetheless, it was just announced that EA decided to let go of an unknown number of employees from all the studios that worked on the game.
IGN asked EA about the types of roles that were impacted and the reasons for the firings, “We’ve made select changes within our Battlefield organization to better align our teams around what matters most to our community. Battlefield remains one of our biggest priorities, and we’re continuing to invest in the franchise, guided by player feedback and insights from Battlefield Labs,” answered the EA spokesperson.
