GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – The Wisconsin Department of Transportation issued an urgent alert to stay off the roads in all 11 counties in the Northeast Region:
- Brown
- Calumet
- Door
- Fond du Lac
- Kewaunee
- Manitowoc
- Marinette
- Oconto
- Outagamie
- Sheboygan
- Winnebago
This includes highways, main roads, rural roads and secondary routes.
The DOT identifies “life-threatening blizzard conditions” with heavy snow, dangerously high winds and whiteout visibility.
Remain in place. Emergency travel should only be considered a last resort.
