Under today’s last quarter moon in Sagittarius, you might run into unexpected roadblocks — particularly if you’ve been making quick decisions, charging forward without a clear plan. It might be frustrating, but these small difficulties along the way can serve to sharpen your focus, drawing your attention to the details you’ve overlooked. Don’t ignore the issues that come up now; taking the time to deal with them properly could slow you down momentarily, but it’ll be worth it in the long run.

Being patient is probably the last thing you want to do today. You’ve waited long enough, you’ve reflected and weighed your options, and now you feel more than ready to make some big moves. But try to hold off a bit longer. Just because you’ve gotten tired of deliberating, that doesn’t mean you’ve actually resolved anything. If you can remain thoughtful and patient, and avoid making any hasty decisions, you’ll be in a much better position once you do end up taking action.

You might have the inescapable feeling, lately, that your life simply isn’t big enough for you, that you need something more. It might be hard to shake the sense that this is your friends’ fault, that you’d be happier if you were surrounded by more interesting or ambitious people. But today, try not to blame everyone around you for your dissatisfaction. Your friends are who they are, and it’s unfair to ask for more than that; if you’re lacking meaning, it’s up to you to find it.

Sometimes, negotiation and compromise seem like a major waste of time. Lately, especially, you’re tired of working so hard to get along with the people around you — you imagine that if you put that energy into advancing your own goals, instead, you’d be much better off. Collaborating with others might be more frustrating than ever, today, but it’ll also be effective — so even if it’s annoying to play nice with everyone, your efforts won’t go to waste, and you’ll be glad you did.

When you’re making big plans, especially the kind that won’t come to fruition for a long time, it’s important not to get bogged down by minor details. In order to let your imagination really take flight, you need to take a broader view, to trust that you’ll figure out the small stuff as you go. Today, though, it might finally be necessary to deal with some of those little details. This part of the process might not be quite so much fun, but it’s important, so don’t neglect it.

You know that change is necessary and inevitable — and that it’s often a good thing. But even though you understand this on an intellectual level, it doesn’t always feel that way. Right now, especially, you’re likely to hold on tight to the way things are, fearing that any change will only be for the worse. But if you let that fear dictate your choices, your life will only seem smaller and less interesting — and you probably won’t even feel more secure. So instead, try to greet the future with courage and a sense of possibility.

Other people are always speaking thoughtlessly, accidentally saying things that come across as more rude and provocative than they meant. Most of the time, you’re good at letting it go, but today, that might be difficult. You’re feeling sensitive, and you’re quick to take offense, even if you know that none was intended. Just try not to let any momentary irritation curdle into a deeper resentment. You’re allowed to be hurt when others speak to you carelessly, but at the same time, you can recognize that there’s probably nothing deeper going on.

You’ll be highly motivated to get things done, today; the trouble is that you might have trouble narrowing your scope enough to actually be effective. It’ll feel imperative that you complete every task on your list, that you solve every problem in your life right away — but when you try to do everything at once, more often than not you end up getting nowhere. So try to choose just one or two things to focus on for now, and trust that you’ll have time to get to the rest later.

You have a powerful urge to be creative today, using your talents and imagination in bold new ways. And while other people sometimes stand in the way, demanding that you work harder and have less fun, that’s unlikely to be a problem right now. If anything, the person standing in your way is probably you — maybe you’re too afraid to express yourself authentically, or maybe you worry you should be doing something more serious with your time. But don’t wait to express yourself until some vague time in the future; do it now.

When someone hurts you, it’s important not to brush it under the rug too quickly, pretending that all is forgiven if it’s not, acting like it’s water under the bridge when in reality, you’re still actively in pain. Today, if you’re upset with somebody — even if you suspect that you’re overreacting — the best thing you can do is say so. You might fear that you’re being a bit dramatic, but it’s only by addressing your problem openly that you’ll be able to genuinely move on.

Although you know nothing lasts forever, that doesn’t mean it’s easy when things end. Lately, when you think about supportive relationships eventually drifting apart, or happy phases of your life gradually winding down, it can feel practically unbearable. It can seem like the answer is to put all of your energy into making sure that things keep going as they have been — but don’t try to force anything. Leave space for your life to change. Some good things will come to an end, but life will keep going, and new happiness will eventually arrive.

You’re not the sort of person to do anything only in order to fit in — you value your independence far too much to let yourself mindlessly follow the crowd. Today, though, it’ll feel increasingly important to build strong social bonds and be part of a community — and you might fear that the only way to do that is to suppress your individuality. But the truth is that while you may have to make some compromises for the sake of your relationships, that doesn’t mean you need to be less unique or less you.

Today, it might be easy to convince yourself that you’re to blame for everything that’s ever gone wrong in your life — maybe even for all the problems in your friends’ lives, too. You tell yourself that you should have known better, that you have no excuses for not being happier or more successful. Really, though, this is just as wrong as imagining that your successes are solely thanks to your own efforts. In both cases, other people played a role too, so don’t be so hard on yourself.
