It’s only been around a month since Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves kicked off Season 2 with a big update along with Kim Jae Hoon, and there’s already another one hitting the streets of South Town.
SNK has now released the Version 1.8.0 patch notes for Fatal Fury for the update that’s about to drop and bring with it quite a big chunk of new content.
The new update itself is scheduled to become available to download starting tonight at 12 a.m. PST / 3 a.m. EST.
Nightmare Geese’s revival is the headliner of the patch as the latest monthly DLC character release where he’ll include a new Episodes of South Town story (though not Arcade mode oddly), but there’s plenty more being added to the game.
Their previously revealed Fatal Fury x Street Fighter collaboration is also coming in the update, and it’ll be free for all owners as a nice touch.
Players will receive special Street Fighter costumes for Preecha as Juri and Rock Howard as Luke though that’s not all either.
SNK is adding a new Metro City B-Ball Court stage too as well as a Street Fighter EOST story featuring new exclusive skills and enemies from Street Fighter 6.
Plus, it includes a special boss fight against Kage Terry under the control of SF6 villain JP.
Since last month’s update already rebalanced all of the characters, there’s no big adjustments here, but B. Jenet, Preecha, Vox Reaper and Tizoc did receive some bug fixes.
If you haven’t already, please check out our exclusive interview with Fatal Fury’s Director about Geese’s return, the possibility of making Jeff Bogard finally playable and more.
You can find the full patch notes for Fatal Fury’s new update below, which can also be found on the official SNK website.
