Brooks Nader’s birthday trip is off to a rough start.
On Sunday, Feb. 15, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, 29, posted on her Instagram Stories that she suffered a severe case of food poisoning while on a flight. She reposted photos of herself taken by her youngest sister Sarah Jane Nader.
The images show Brooks lying on the floor wrapped in a blanket while surrounded by her loved ones.
“Very touch and go,” Sarah Jane wrote. “Food poisoning: 1. Brooksie: 0.”
In another photo, her family and friends look concerned as her father, Breaux Nader, helps her take a sip of her drink.
“The things Breaux Nader has to deal with smh,” Sarah Jane added.

Following the flight, Brooks posted a photo of an ambulance awaiting her arrival. She wrote: “If you don’t get picked up in an ambulance when you land, are you even having fun???”
The photo also showed off a cup that said “Twenty Fine,” in honor of her 29th birthday celebration. Sarah Jane later tweaked the image of the cup and teased that her sister is “Twenty NOT Fine.”
Despite the medical emergency, Brooks seemed to recover quickly. Just hours later, she posted a selfie from a yacht. The Love Thy Nader star was also tubing with her sisters and partying at a beach club.
“Made it out alive,” she wrote.
