Double-digit snow totals have been reported across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut as a major nor’easter continues to hit the area.
The largest storm in years continued to deliver some serious snow on Monday, before beginning to wind down in the afternoon. Some areas of Long Island and New Jersey received more than 2 feet.

The storm is now the ninth biggest in New York City history, dating to 1869. As of 2:30 p.m., 19.7 inches have fallen in Central Park, which is just 0.1 inches less than what fell on Feb. 16-17, 2003, and just 0.3 inches less the seventh-place storm, from Dec. 26-27, 2010.
