Asus has launched a new variant of NUC 16 Pro mini PC in China. The compact system is now listed on JD.com for 10,999 yuan ($1,590) and features high-end specifications, including the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor, 32GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage.

The NUC 16 Pro features a Core Ultra X7 358H processor from the Panther Lake H platform, with 16 cores (4 performance cores, 8 efficiency cores, and 4 low-power efficiency cores) and a boost clock speed of 4.8GHz. It is equipped with Intel Arc B390 graphics, featuring 12 Xe cores and support for XeSS 3 frame generation technology, enhancing gaming and rendering performance.
The NUC 16 Pro includes 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM at 9600MHz, with support for up to 96GB. It features a 1TB M.2 PCIe 5.0 SSD and an additional M.2 PCIe 4.0 slot for storage expansion.
The cooling system on the NUC 16 Pro uses dual fans and multiple heat pipes to maintain performance while reducing noise. Asus says this design ensures stable operation even under heavy workloads.
The mini PC includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two HDMI 2.1 outputs, and four USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports split between the front and rear panels. Asus has also added a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port on the front. Networking is handled by dual 2.5Gb Ethernet ports and Intel Wi-Fi 7, which offer fast and reliable connectivity.
The system supports up to four 4K displays and is compatible with VESA mounting. Asus has designed the chassis for tool-free upgrades, making internal components easy to access. The device measures 14.4 x 11.7 x 4.2 cm and weighs 720 grams.
The mini pc also comes with a firmware TPM 2.0 module for hardware security. The system meets MIL-STD-810H certification for durability, ensuring it can withstand tough environments.
