The BRIT Awards are back—this time, in Manchester. And all the stars headed up north for the occasion.
First held back in 1977, the ceremony was founded to celebrate the best of British music, focusing primarily on the United Kingdom’s buzzing music scene. This year, Lola Young and Olivia Dean led the nominees with five nods each, including a spot each on the coveted (and expansive) Artist of the Year lineup. Joining them was Dave, Fred again.., JADE, Little Simz, PinkPantheress, Sam Fender, Self Esteem, and Lily Allen—whose 2025 album West End Girl was well represented throughout the categories. The “Madeline” star was also up for Album of the Year, alongside Dave (The Boy Who Played Harp), Dean (The Art of Loving), Fender (People Watching), and Wolf Alice (The Clearing).
For the three international categories—Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Group of the Year—Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Chappell Roan, sombr, Gracie Abrams, HAIM, and Bad Bunny were among the nominees.
The evening was confirmed to be hosted by comedian and actor Jack Whitehall for the sixth time. The ceremony will honor Oasis’s Noel Gallagher as Songwriter of the Year for his decades-long career, and will present Mark Ronson with the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award. In terms of who will take the stage to perform, the stacked lineup included Ronson, Dean, Harry Styles, Rosalía, RAYE, and Robbie Williams.
