As news continues to surface about Taylor Frankie Paul’s recent alleged domestic assault incident, a new report claimed that ABC is in talks to pull the upcoming season of The Bachelorette featuring the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, 31, as the lead.
“This has turned into a full-blown crisis,” a source told Rob Shuter in a story published on the gossip columnist’s Naughty But Nice Substack on Tuesday, March 17. “There are serious conversations happening about whether the show can move forward as planned. When sponsors start running, networks panic, and that’s exactly what’s happening here.”

Variety reported yesterday that the investigation into Paul’s alleged incident would not affect the premiere of The Bachelorette.

Shuter’s report comes just hours after Cinnabon announced that they had pulled their promotional sponsorship from The Bachelorette and Paul’s other hit reality TV show, Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

“Recent developments and allegations surrounding the lead cast member led us to reassess this collaboration as it no longer aligns with our brand values,” the company said in a statement to TMZ.
Season 22 of The Bachelorette was set to premiere on Sunday, March 22.
