A video shared by Israeli media showed an explosion near a parking lot near the Nakhchivan International Airport, which is about 10 km from the border with Iran.
Video footage shared with Reuters by their source showed black smoke rising near the airport terminal. The report also said that a second drone landed near a school in the area.
The Azerbaijan government summoned the Iranian ambassador and said that it reserved the right to take “appropriate response measures.”
