Singer Pink has reportedly separated from her husband of twenty years, Carey Hart, according to reports.
The former couple, who share two children together, previously called it quits on their marriage back in 2008, before doing a 180 and revealing they had reconciled.
The news of Pink’s alleged split from her husband, Hart, comes after their last public sighting together in 2025, when they noticeably didn’t have on their wedding rings.
Update: Pink Clarifies News Of Her Split From Carey Hart
Pink has addressed rumors that she and her husband, Hart, are no longer together.
The singer shared a video on Instagram addressing the claim, which People Magazine first reported.
She stated, “So I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband. I didn’t know. Thank you, People Magazine. Thank you, Us Weekly. Thanks for letting me know. I was wondering if you would also like to tell our children. Our 14-year-old and 9-year-old are also unaware.”
The singer continued. “Or do you want to talk about some real news. Do you want to talk about the Epstein files? Do you want to talk about systemic racism?… or do you want to talk about the fact that I was nominated the first year I was eligible for the Rock and Roll motherf-cking Hall of Fame? Do you want to talk about my accomplishments or do you want to talk about my supposed demise?”
“So fake news, not true,” she added about the separation rumor.

Sources told People Magazine that Pink, 46, had broken up with her husband, Hart, 50, after twenty years together.
The former couple was last seen publicly in September 2025 in New York City, and reportedly appeared tense as they didn’t have on their wedding rings.
The rumor of the separation came shortly after their wedding anniversary in January, which Pink did not acknowledge, unlike the last year, when she shared a lengthy post gushing about their relationship.
“19 years ago, on a beach in Costa Rica, we both took a chance we weren’t sure we even believed in,” Pink wrote at the time on Instagram. “I’m so glad we did. I’ve been with you longer than I haven’t. You’ve been my one constant. You have loved me, hated me, and loved me again. I love our story, no matter what gets written. It is gritty and sweet. Thank you for being by my side all these years. I love you forever @hartluck.”
Pink And Carey Hart Previously Separated In 2008

This is not Pink and Hart’s first separation, as they once announced a breakup in 2008, two years after their wedding in Costa Rica.
The pair at the time kept their relationship amicable, with Hart even making an appearance in Pink’s “So What” music video, which was inspired by their divorce.
However, by 2009, the couple seemingly made amends and revealed that they had called off their divorce.
“We’re rebuilding,” Hart said to People about their reconciliation. “Sometimes you have to take a couple of steps backwards to move forward.”
The Singer Said Long-Term Relationships ‘Are Not Easy’

Pink has been quite candid about the challenges of maintaining a long-term relationship, once admitting that it’s easier to go from one relationship to another.
“Long-term relationships are not easy,” Pink said in 2021. “It is much easier to stay in the solid days and jump from relationship to relationship, because then you don’t have to fix the problems that keep recurring.”
She added, “You have to end up fixing yourself; you can’t fix the other person. So it can be challenging, and there’s good days and there’s bad days.”
The singer also stated that it’s an “impossible expectation” for a person to think they can “evolve exactly the same pace” as their significant other.
“So it takes work to redefine what’s important,” Pink added. “I don’t want to break up my family. That’s been my main goal since I had a broken family. Sometimes you have to let it go. You can’t die on every mountain.”
Pink Claimed Her Relationship With Carey Hart Worked Because They Were ‘Independent To A Fault’

MEGA
In a 2023 interview with People, Pink shared the reason why her marriage to Hart lasted so long.
According to the singer, the secret to their lengthy union was how independent they were and how easily they could live separate lives and then get back together.
She said at the time, “He and I are independent to a fault. That’s probably why we’ve stayed together so long, because we can live completely separately and then be together.”
Pink added, “We don’t need each other. We choose each other.”
