Again, PGA Tour 2K25 is being touted as the headline act here, but it’s obviously not going to please those of you who have zero interest in golf. Sports titles always end up being extremely divisive amongst PS Plus subscribers, as you’d expect.
Then we’ve got Monster Hunter Rise, which is an interesting inclusion. With the release of Monster Hunter Stories 3 fast approaching, we assume that Capcom’s trying to drum up hype for the franchise (even though Stories is a much different game to the mainline series).
Still, Rise is a largely top Monster Hunter experience, as evidenced by our glowing Monster Hunter Rise PS5 review.
Months of content updates made it a seriously robust package once it arrived on PS5 and PS4, although it should be noted that its expansion, Sunbreak, needs to be bought separately — and that’s where a lot of Rise’s best action unfolds.
Meanwhile, Slime Rancher 2 is a bit of a wildcard pick. An addictive, and admittedly unorthodox farming game where you cultivate herds of slime-based creatures, its a very well-liked sequel. Worth a shot if you’re looking for something a bit… different.
And finally, The Elder Scrolls Online is making its way to PS Plus, having launched what feels like a lifetime ago. The MMORPG has been handed countless updates and expansions over the years, resulting in a truly gargantuan adventure.
This version gives you access to every expansion up until 2024’s Gold Road. If you’ve never played ESO before, then we’d suggest setting aside roughly six months of your life if you want to get up to speed.
