The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul is about to have the ultimate soft swinging experience: dating 22 dudes at the same time. ABC has revealed the men for Paul’s season of The Bachelorette, as well as their fun facts. Their red flags? Paul will have to discover those on her own. Among this fresh crop of boys is a California cowboy (Brad), a Midwesterner who is completely against “complex card games” (Brandon), and a vinyl lover from Vacaville (Christopher). There’s also Aaron, Lew, and Josh from Utah — if she wants someone more from her milieu. Lew is a self-proclaimed Belieber, if that sweetens the deal. But if three guys from Utah feels like a lot, that’s nothing compared to the seven from California. There are also two honky-tonk hopefuls from Nashville.
Paul is crossing reality TV streams after splitting from husband Tate and from the father of her youngest child, Dakota Mortensen. Paul told Vulture she wanted to do this show in part to have a real dating experience. “I’ve never done that,” she said. “I got married very young, had kids young, and then my first relationship post-marriage was another baby daddy. I have three kids; it’s time-consuming. We all know the same old song and dance of ‘dating is rough,’ and it’s like, I don’t really have that time either. This was a great opportunity I didn’t want to miss.” Watch a mother of three date for the very first time when The Bachelorette returns to ABC March 22.
