Following last week’s report that Apple was preparing to replace its “SEED” app with “Sales Coach,” the new app is now available. Here are the details.
Sales Coach replaces SEED on the App Store
As spotted by MacRumors, rather than discontinuing SEED and launching a new app called Sales Coach, Apple simply updated the SEED app earlier today, turning it into Sales Coach.
The app’s updated description reads:
Apple Sales Coach delivers sales and technical resources to Apple sales partners around the world.
Apple Sales Coach has the resources you need to be ready for a variety of customer conversations. Stay up to date with product announcements, program updates, sales tips, and more.
With today’s update, the app got the new Liquid Glass design, as well as an AI-powered chatbot accessible via a new “Ask” tab and which can answer questions based on Apple’s official materials and documentation.
While the app is publicly available on the App Store, Apple notes that
the app is only available “to personnel of Apple and Apple sales partners,” and that new users “need a partner code to complete registration.”
In addition to the updated app, the new Sales Coach platform is available via this link.
