Liv Morgan has been making the rounds on Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown over the past couple of weeks, giving us the typical tease on which champion she will choose to challenge at WrestleMania 42 following her Royal Rumble victory. Jade Cargill and the women’s championship never made much sense, even if they had real chemistry in the appearances they made together.
No, it was always clear Stephanie Vaquer and the women’s world championship was the choice. Sure enough, Morgan, still reeling from the champ’s promo last week, made her choice on Raw this week in Atlanta:
Both Vaquer and Cargill were called in for the big decision but as stated, she was always going to choose Stephanie. She did so after an apology that quickly rang hollow when she blasted Vaquer with a microphone. She laid the champ out and celebrated with her title standing over her.
This also means whoever wins the women’s Elimination Chamber match will be taking on Cargill in Las Vegas.
