Once upon a time, 19 Kids and Counting felt like it was everywhere. But as the years passed and headlines grew darker, the family slowly retreated from the spotlight. So when Anna Duggar popped up on Instagram this week — nearly five years after husband Josh Duggar’s arrest — it’s no surprise the internet took notice.
On Wednesday, February 18, the mom of seven took to her Golden Grove Pups account with a sweet post introducing three new furry faces. “Meet Whitaker, Beaumont, and Harrington — three of our handsome little golden guys 🐶💛,” she wrote, adding that the trio would be “heading to their new homes very soon.”
In the accompanying video, Anna, 37, is seen cradling all three puppies in the front seat of a car, waiting for a vet appointment. She introduces Whitaker as her personal favorite — “He’s a little bit darker,” she explains — before pointing out Harrington and Beaumont. She goes on to share that the males are getting close to 10 pounds and notes that English Creams tend to be a milder, more affectionate breed. “They definitely enjoy their snuggle time,” she says, wrapping up the clip.
It didn’t take long for reactions to flood the comments section. “Oh my goodness I need this cuteness in my life,” one person wrote, while another added, “They are beautiful and you look gorgeous too!” Several fans were simply happy to see Anna herself back on screen. “Very nice seeing you again, beautiful Anna,” one fan noted. “The pups are adorable and it’s nice to see you Anna. You look great! 😊,” chimed in another.
For those out of the loop, Anna runs Golden Grove Pups, a dog breeding business where she raises and sells AKC-registered English Cream Golden Retrievers. While she rarely appears on camera herself, the account has previously featured her kids playing with the pups and glimpses of the family’s Arkansas property — reportedly a $1 million home purchased by father-in-law Jim Bob Duggar.
As for Josh, 37, a federal jury convicted him in December 2021, and he was sentenced in May 2022 to 151 months in federal prison, according to the U.S. Department of Justice. He is serving his sentence at FCI Seagoville in Texas, with a release date currently listed for October 2032.
