Season 2 of Battlefield 6 brought with it a healthy amount of new weapons
Season 2 of Battlefield 6 brought with it a fair amount of new content, including three new weapons and two new class Gadgets. Unlocking them follows a similar pattern to how you earned Season 1’s content, and we’ll detail everything you need to know here.
How to unlock all weapons in Battlefield 6 Season 2

All the new weapons and Gadgets in BF6 Season 2 are tied to different tracks on the battle pass. They’re all also unlocked at different levels on each track, some earlier, some at or very near the end. Here’s the rundown:
9K38 IGLA Launcher

Unlocked at Recruit Track level 5, the 9K38 IGLA is an anti-air launcher Gadget for the Engineer. Once you lock on, you’ll need to track the enemy vehicle with the sighting system, and you’ll be able to reacquire the target should the lock break because of loss of line of sight or the use of flares or other countermeasures.
GRT-CPS DMR

You unlock the GRT-CPS DMR at level 14 of the Death Stalkers track on the battle pass. It’s a low-damage, higher fire-rate DMR. It’s more precise by default than others in its class, but you’ll pay for that with more bullets to kill.
HTI-MK2 Suppression

Unlocked on the Hazardous Front track at level 21, the HTI-MK2 Hardware Suppression System spots enemy equipment through walls and can also intercept missiles from the ground. It’s a bit more active than other Recon Gadget options.
M121 A2 LMG

The M121 A2 LMG is locked behind the Steel Talon battle pass track, available at level 17. It’s a fast-firing, high-damage weapon, meaning you’ll be doing a lot to tame some heavy recoil.
VCR-2 Assault Rifle

This fast-firing, moderate-damage assault rifle unlocks on the Woodland Rangers track at level 22. It fires as fast as the Kord 6P67, but does five additional damage. You’ll pay for that damage with harsher recoil, though.
To start unlocking any of the new weapons and Gadgets past the IGLA, you’ll need to first complete the Recruit track, which takes 50 battle pass tokens. From there, you can choose which track to level and can swap between them at any time.

You unlock Battle Pass points via XP in a match and by completing Weekly Challenges. Your weeklies are a great supplemental way to increase your battle pass rank, but playing well is more worthwhile. A solid game as a Support netted me nine XP pass points to the three I got from a challenge.

The later in the season it gets, however, you’re bound to accrue a healthy amount of uncompleted challenges that you can finish all at once for a massive pass level boost.
I should mention that you can spend real-world money on Battlefield Coins and buy your way to all the new weapons and Gadgets. The new stuff is free to unlock for everyone, so I’d only recommend it if you have the money to burn and feel like skipping the grind.
