Megan Thee Stallion Receives a Blue Birthday Bentley from Boyfriend Klay Thompson

Megan Thee Stallion has a new ride, courtesy of her basketball player beau.

The “Otaku Hot Girl” rapper turned 31 on Feb. 15, and according to her Instagram, commemorated the occasion with a birthday trip and brand new whip, gifted to her by boyfriend Klay Thompson.

On Tuesday, Feb. 17, the three-time Grammy winner marked the end of her trip with a post recapping the vacation, and in the final two slides of the carousel, revealed that Dallas Mavericks player Thompson, 36, gave her a Bentley car.

In the second to last shot, Megan held up the keys to the powder-blue car, which was adorned with a large bow, and in the final snap, she posed alongside it.

Elsewhere in the birthday post, the rapper posed with Thompson on a beach and a boat, and shared other snaps from their tropical getaway.

“Aw man I was not ready for this birthday trip to be over 🥹,” the musician captioned the post. “A time was definitely had🏝️🍹🥳 THANK YOU BABY⚓️.”

The post revealing Thompson’s birthday gift to his rapper girlfriend comes a week after Megan shared a PDA-filled round-up from the basketball player’s own birthday earlier in the month. He turned 36 on Feb. 8. “Klay Day ⚓️💙,” she captioned the sweet tribute to her beau.

In January, Megan also opened up about her relationship with Thompson — with whom she made her red carpet debut last summer — and admitted she did not see their romance coming.

The “HISS” rapper told PEOPLE last month that she “didn’t even know I was going to be in my relationship, to be honest,” but said it arrived when she shifted her focus to loving and working on herself.

“I think that because finally I started being in a better mind space about myself and my life, and I had already been doing a lot of work to heal me,” she said. “I had been going to therapy, I had a bunch of activities that I started doing for myself; maybe God just opened up that space for me to have somebody that loved me right.”

“This is one of the first times that I’ve ever been just overly comfortable,” a giggling Megan added of her relationship with the NBA star. “I’m comfy, babe!”

The duo made their relationship public at her Inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City in July 2025.

When asked about Thompson at the event, Megan told PEOPLE that the four-time NBA champion is the “nicest person I’ve ever met in my life.”

“Oh, we met and it was such a meet cute it was like a f—ing movie,” she described how they met at the time, before coyly adding: “I won’t tell you how and I won’t tell you when, but it was a movie.”
