On February 4, Canon is going to announce the RF 14 f/1.4L VCM, RF 7-14 f/2.8-3.5L STM Zoom Fisheye and a limited edition version of the PowerShot G7 X Mark III. All I know about the limited part of the G7X3 is that it’ll be a graphite grey.
The full specifications of the lenses aren’t known, but you can probably guess on the VCM lens and I imagine the fisheye will be similar to the EF 8-15 f/2.8L in size.
What will the new gear cost?
The #1 question ahead of a product launch is what things are going to cost, and I am 99% sure on the pricing. If I’m off, it won’t be by much. I will do an update on pricing if I hear something different.
USD Pricing
I don’t think anyone will be surprised that the 14mm will be the most expensive lens of the VCM L prime series. I had hopes and dreams about it being less money than that, but “hope is a dangerous thing“.
Before we make comments about the price of the limited edition PowerShot here, let’s wait and see what it actually is. If it’s just a paint job, have at it.
